Crafting Gardens with Care
At CALCo. Gardens, we believe that landscaping is about more than simply transforming outdoor spaces – it’s about creating a place you’ll truly love to spend time in. As a small, dedicated company, we ensure to give your garden our complete attention from the very first sketch to the final finishing touches.
We approach every job as if we were working on our own home. That means no shortcuts, no compromises, and a relentless commitment to detail. Quality is always our priority – because we know that the difference between a good garden and a great garden is all in the craftsmanship.
Your satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. We don’t consider a project complete until you are completely happy with the results. This personal approach allows us to be big enough to handle projects of all sizes, yet small enough to care about every single detail.

An introduction to Charlie Allen
After achieving a first-class degree in Economics from Newcastle University, Charlie realised his true passion lay outside the corporate world. Following his love for design, he immersed himself in the landscaping trade, completing specialist apprenticeships, extensive training and a diploma in Garden Design from the National Design Academy.
Years of hands-on experience followed, as Charlie honed his skills on-site and developed a reputation for quality and integrity. This foundation led him to launch his own business, CALCo. Gardens, with a clear ethos: no corners cut, and everything built to last. That commitment quickly earned CALCo. a reputation for creating high-quality, beautifully designed outdoor spaces.
Today, Charlie leads a dedicated team of skilled landscapers who share his attention to detail and passion for doing things the right way. Together, they deliver exceptional results and build lasting relationships with a loyal and growing customer base.
